JERRY BENNETT (Announcer)
Jerry is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Radio and Television, where he hosted a weekly college radio show.  After a brief stopover in L.A., he moved to Seattle in 1979.  Jerry worked as a technician for Pacific Northwest Bell, stayed through subsequent corporate mergers, and concluded his 29-year career as a fiber optics specialist for Qwest Communications.  Following retirement, Jerry has pursued his love of music by originating and hosting “From Here to Obscurity,” a weekly radio show at KSER in Everett, WA.  Jerry’s show features 1960's garage and psychedelic music and musician interviews.  Capitalizing on his rich baritone voice, he completed the “Voices For All” master class in Albany, NY, and works as a voice actor and announcer.  He resides in Lynnwood, WA, with his wife and teenage son and enjoys gourmet cooking, games of many kinds, and learning to play bass guitar.
